Charles Galarraga - M.S., CRC, LCPCC

Charles Galarraga, M.S., C.R.C., LCPCC received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Medical Biology from the University of Southern Maine in 1992 and completed a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the same institution. He is a certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has over twenty years of experience working with all categories of disability within the field of rehabilitation. Mr. Galarraga is a Maine native. He is a member of the National Rehabilitation Association and was President of the Maine Chapter from 1998-2000. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Maine where he teaches Medical/Psychosocial aspects of disability. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Rehabilitation at Southern Maine Community College where he teaches Psychosocial Rehabilitation and also supervises practicum students within the Behavioral Health program. Additionally, he supervises graduate practicum students from the University of Southern Maine’s Rehabilitation and Counseling programs. Mr. Galarraga is a founding partner in Seacoast Rehabilitation, L.L.C. and is President of Maine Vocational & Rehabilitation Associates, Inc. Mr. Galarraga's areas of expertise are the following: Long-term Disability National Labor Market Surveys, Transferable Skills Analysis, Vocational Evaluations, National Telephonic Return-To-Work Services, Life Waiver of Premium, Own Occupation Review, Return To Work Services for Mental/Nervous Claims, Worker's Compensation Labor Market Surveys, Individualized Job Development Services for Worker's Compensation, Expert Witness Testimony, Vocational Aspects of Social Security Disability Determination Services and Vocational Counseling. Mr. Galarraga is also certified by the DOL OWCP/FECAL Compensation Programs which provides vocational services to Long shore workers, United States postal employees and Defense Base Act. He is also certified to provide vocational expert witness testimony for the Social Security Office of Disability and Adjudication Review. In addition to this Mr. Galarraga is currently providing non-attorney representation services for clients seeking to obtain SSI & SSDI benefits.

Additionally, Mr. Galarraga specializes in vocational aspects of medical malpractice cases. He has extensive forensic expertise in Federal, District and Superior Court systems as well as Workers Compensation litigation. He is also a practicing Psychotherapist who has extensive knowledge with mental health issues.

 

 

 

David Meuse, M.S., CRC, CVRP

David Meuse has an Associate Degree in Criminology and received his Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. He received his Master of Science degree in Counseling with a specialty in Psychosocial Rehabilitation. He is a certified Rehabilitation Counselor licensed to practice in Maine and New Hampshire and is certified to practice Mental Health Rehabilitation as a MHRT IV in the state of Maine. Mr. Meuse is a Maine Native and has been in the Rehabilitation field, both Public and Private, for 20 years. He has trained Mental Health Rehabilitation and Community Professionals in areas of Crisis Management, Case Management and Assessment. Mr. Meuse is President and founding partner in Seacoast Rehabilitation L.L.C. Mr. Meuse's areas of expertise is Worker's Compensation, Long and Short Term Disability, Mental Health / Mental Nervous Conditions, the Physical/Mental as well as Vocational aspects of Disability, Substance Abuse, Expert Testimony on Vocations National and Local Labor Markets, Job Accommodation, Job Development, Safe and Early Return to Work practices.
